This is the easiest and most indulgent recipe! Growing up I remember these being my mother's go-to for a fancy dinner party dessert, the height of sophistication. No double boiler, no tempering, no fussing at all! I've added orange blossom water because....well, because is there a better combination than dark chocolate and orange? Serve in beautiful tiny containers as you don't need much of this rich treat to feel indulged and top with just a dollop of cream.
120g 70% chocolate in small pieces
2 egg yolks
2 tablespoons orange blossom water
1 cup whipping cream, plus 1/4 cup for topping
1 tablespoon icing sugar
orange zest
Place the chocolate, yolks, and orange blossom water in a blender. Heat the whipping cream in a small saucepan just until you see bubbles forming around the edges. Pour the cream into the blender with the other ingredients and blend until you have a smooth mixture with no pieces of chocolate remaining. Pour the mixture into little cups or glasses and pop in the fridge for 3 hours to set. Just before serving, whip the remaining 1/4 cup of cream with the icing sugar until you have a firm spoonable cream. Dollop a bit on top of each chocolate pot and dust with a sprinkle of orange zest.
